My first Mother's Day

Zachary sent me flowers...he's quite advanced for his age!

One year ago today

We heard our little man's heartbeat for the first time! He's grown quite a bit from that little grain of rice! :)

Zachary's first visit to the Easter Bunny!

Meeting the Easter Bunny (not sure about this whole thing):

Yeah, he hates the bunny:

This picture cracks me up, between Zach and the bunny's expression:

Turns out he was fine with the bunny, he just didn't want to be laid down:

Trip to the Maple Festival - Volinia 03/28/09

Saturda we went to the Maple Festival. It was a chance to test out Zach's new jogging/off road stroller, and it worked great!

Here is a picture of Chris and Zach in front of the sugar shack, they were boiling the sugar while we were there!

Zachary's first big day outside and stroller ride

Today was the first day that it was warm enough outside to take Zachary out for any amount of time. He really liked going for a stroller ride and ended up falling asleep!

What big blue eyes! He seems to really like his stroller

Two month stats

From Zachary's two month appointment yesterday:

Weight: 12 lbs 9 oz, 75th percentile

Length: 23 inches, 50th percentile

Head circumference: 15 3/4 inches, 50th percentile

He also received 3 shots, which was six immunizations. They were: DTaP (Diptheria-Tetanus-Pertussis), Hib (Haemophilus Influenza type B), HepB, Polio, Pneumoccal Conjugate, and Rotavirus.

He cried when the nurse was giving him the shots, but he calmed down as soon as I picked him up. He was so good afterwards that we actually went shopping and out to dinner and to visit Grandma. Once we got home he was a bit fussier and I was sure we were in for a bad night. But he ended up sleeping his normal amount of time, until 5 AM. He's been a little sleepier than usual today, but he's back to his normal happy, smiling self.

Zachary is two months old!

Zachary is giving a preview of his St. Patrick's Day outfit :) He's loving on his Dad's bear:
Shamrock on the butt!
A smile, even though he just had his shots yesterday!

Daddy loves Zachary

One of my favorite pics of Chris and Zach:

Zachary gets a visitor!

Barb flew all the way in from North Carolina just to see Zachary. He was very spoiled for a few days having two "mommies" taking care of him! I really wish she lived closer!

Zachary smiles!

Zach really started smiling around 5 weeks, but it took us a couple of weeks to actually get a good picture of it.
Here he is showing off his big blue eyes: My favorite smile:
